Hiking Outings

Join Todd Barnett for weekend outings this fall and winter, exploring the great outdoors areas in our region.  These hikes are some of the better ones that we can reach and return from in a day’s drive.  I am anticipating a good mix of younger and older hikers, and I hope you will consider bringing the whole family.   

Saturday, February 11 – Day Hike at Old Rag Mountain, Madison County (7 mi., moderate terrain)

March – Spring Camp (ages 6-14)

April – Day Hike at Big Run, Shenandoah National Park (7 mi., difficult terrain) 

All activities are designed for all ages 6 and up unless otherwise noted above.  All day hikes will depart at 9 a.m. from ALC Copies' parking lot with a late afternoon return.  Click here to register.
